Points Of Pride
In addition to record enrollment of 16,551 for fall 2002, the university broke another school record when it awarded nearly 2,800 degrees during its 166th commencement in 2003. In May 2003, Marshall celebrated 90,000 graduates in school history.
Marshall's football team has played in seven bowl games since moving to Division I-A in 1997 and has posted wins in five of those appearances.
