TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa's double tandem of Andy Connelly and Ross Cunningham lost a straight set match in Saturday's semifinals at the NCAA Tennis Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of The University of Tulsa.

The Hurricane duo dropped a 6-3, 6-3 decision to the nation's number two-ranked team and the NCAA Championships No. 2 seed with a chance to advance to the semifinals on the line. Southern Cal's Robert Farah and Kaes Van't Hof took the straight set victory and will play in Sunday's semifinal round.

"We came out firing as usual. I felt like we were on our game today. We played really solid and made a lot of balls, but they played really well and didnt give us anything," said Cunningham.

By advancing to the quarterfinals, Connelly and Cunningham earned Al-America status, making them the fourth doubles team in school history to earn All-America accolades.

Tulsa's duo ende the season with a 22-11 record.

The tournament will continue on Sunday with semifinals in singles and doubles competition, while the four championship matches will take place on Monday afternoon.
