2005-06 East Carolina Women's Basketball Preview I am really excited about this upcoming season and to see all of our players in action. We graduated a lot from last year, but I think that with the new players that we have coming in, mostly freshmen and one junior college transfer, there's a lot of excitement and a lot of the unknown. So far I have been pleased with everyone's effort and I'm excited that we are going to be able to have a much faster up-tempo style of play. Full Preview |

2005-06 Memphis Women's Basketball Preview Despite 2005-06 being Blair Savage's second year with the Lady Tiger basketball program, it might be fair to say that this is the first year of her rebuilding program. Gone are five letterwinners from the 2004-05 team that finished 13-16 for the season and scored 67.5 percent of last year's points. Also sidelined for the 2005-06 season is team defensive MVP Jessica Hall, who suffered a torn Achilles during the off-season and had surgery prior to individual workouts beginning. Hall suffered a second tear and underwent a second surgery on the same leg in October. Full Preview |

2005-06 Southern Miss Women's Basketball Preview The youth movement will again be served in Head Coach Joye Lee-McNelis' second season, as she continues the transformation process of her Lady Eagle basketball club. For the second year in a row, Southern Miss will not have any seniors on the roster. Although the word "rebuilding" is one that many coaches would love to wipe out of their vocabulary, some coaches, like McNelis, welcome the process and have a successful record of turning programs around at a fairly quick pace. 2005-06 Tulane Women's Basketball Preview On August 27, 2005, most of the members of the Tulane women's basketball team converged on the New Orleans campus, ready to begin the 2005-06 academic year.
